Description: This shot was taken when I was crossing the footbridge, which link between Tai O (大澳) and Yim Tin (鹽田). In the old days, there was a small wooden platform (boat) that need a man to steer (or pull). On the left hand side is Tai O Island and on the right is Yim Tin. The mountain at the back is Keung Sheng (羌山).

Description: It was taken from the ferry pier. The combination of the sky, sea, mountain and rocky beach is the element of this picture. Imagine, in a cosmopolitan like Hong Kong, and you still find some peaceful natural creations like this.

Description: The sun is setting and I was leaving Tai O. After I finished off my last roll of black and white film, I changed to the old trusty Kodak colour negative. Surprisingly, the result is quite acceptable.

Description: A lonely, tilted building in the middle of the bay area? There should be something wrong with the foundation. To me, this building is just like the frontal fortress that guarding the Tai O area.

Description: These are the houses that people still living in. I did not tilt my camera and this shot was taken while I am just standing, pointing my camera at eye level. Yes, the height of the house is just about 3-4 meters and you cannot stand in the second floor. Theses houses are made from sheet zinc metal and wood.
